
By making payment, you are placing an order and agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
‘Me/I’ means Jenny Byron, owner of Military Spouse Works
‘You’ means the client, requesting services.
1. Payment
- You will be advised on when I will be able to start work on your project before you make payment. This will be subject to change until you make payment, which confirms your order and secures your priority over later clients.
- Upon confirmation from you regarding which services you are requesting, an email will be sent by me within 24 hours with an invoice and instructions to make a secure online payment.
- Full payment is required in advance to place an order. The services will not be started before full payment is received.
- If adequate career information is not provided by you within 30 days, the order will be considered closed, and no refund will be given. See Section 3 for detail on required information.
- If no further correspondence is received from you within 30 days of making payment, the order will be considered closed, and no refund will be given.
- You may make a 10% deposit to secure services for a future agreed upon date within the following 60 days. This deposit is non-refundable and full payment must be received before work is started. If no contact is made by the agreed upon date, the order will be considered closed, and no refund will be given.
2. Cancellation
- If you decide to cancel your order after work has started, no refund will be given.
- No refunds will be provided after a first draft has been sent.
- If you are late for a meeting, I reserve the right to end the meeting at the originally agreed time.
3. Information
- You must provide adequate information to allow me to provide the requested services. This will include, but is not limited to, your career history, career goals, skills, qualifications, and interests.
- You will usually provide information during an information gathering video call. If you would like to discuss different methods of communication, please email info@militaryspouseworks.com .
- I am not responsible for any false or inaccurate information contained in your CV or other services. You will be given the opportunity to comment on a first draft and notify me of any inaccuracies.
- I will correct any errors, free of charge, within 14 days of sending the draft services. After this time, there may be a charge for re-editing.
- If I do not receive any comments or correspondence in relation to the first draft within 14 days of sending it, this will be considered your acceptance with this draft as a final version. This will conclude the transaction.
4. General
- I will provide services based on my expertise and knowledge of current best practice. If you are unsatisfied with the final product, I will discuss my recommendations and reasons for these. I reserve the right to refuse to make amendments that I believe would negatively impact the effectiveness of my services.
- I do not offer any guarantees that you will be successful in securing an interview/job, due to the number of variables I cannot control in your job search.
- I am not responsible for any changes or updates made by you or made by me at your request.
- I reserve the right to decline any client or work at my discretion.
- A single service will usually be available within 5-7 business days from starting work on this project. Packages with combined services may take longer. If you require services quicker than this, please advise me during our initial call. I reserve the right to charge additional fees for a quicker service and you will be advised of these in advance, if this applies.
- Where packages are purchased, you can opt to use any part of the package at a later date within 12 months of payment being made. After this time, the transaction will be considered closed and no refund will be given for elements not used.
