I get it, interviews can be daunting. This can be especially true if you haven’t been interviewed for a long time… or ever! Interview coaching could be the solution you’re looking for.
And I’m here to help.
What you can expect in an interview coaching session
Ideally, we’ll start with a 20mins discovery/chemistry call to discuss your strengths and weaknesses during interviews, and to check we’re happy to work together.
That discussion will shape the main coaching session, where we’ll work together to cover some/all of the following:
- How to prepare for an interview.
- The sort of questions you can expect to answer.
- How to structure your responses.
- Confidence-building techniques.
- Questions you can ask at the end of the interview.
- Logistics on the day, particularly for in-person interviews.
A coaching session lasts approximately one hour. Following the session, you will also receive a downloadable pdf to help you prepare for interview success.
You can also find some tips in the Interview Preparation blog.
A personalised session
You can be sure we’ll address your concerns and tailor your responses towards the job you are interviewing for.
We’ll look at general questions and ones specific to your line of work.
Mock interviews
I offer a mock interview to allow you to practice the techniques learned during the coaching session. This can either be arranged to take place at the end of an interview coaching session, or in a separate session.
Each mock interview lasts around 30 minutes with a further 30mins to discuss developmental feedback.
